Face
Face is a term used to denote the division of the zodiac into 72 equal parts of 5 degrees each. Some astrologers used this interchangeably with decan, which divides the zodiac into 36 equal parts of 10 degrees each.
Fall
The term fall is a way of classifying sign placements of planets. A planet is in its fall when it is placed in the sign opposite the sign of its exaltation for example Mars gets exaltation in Capricorn therefore its fall will be in Cancer, the sign opposite to Capricorn. Fall is also known as debility and this is regarded as an unfortunate or weak placement.
Familiarity
Familiarity is an older term for the aspects between the planets.
Feminine Signs
The 12 signs of the zodiac are classified in a number of different ways, including a division into positive, masculine signs and negative, feminine signs. The feminine signs include all the odd numbered signs or all the earth signs Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn and all the water signs Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.
Feral Signs
Feral is a term used to refer to a wild animal. "Feral signs" is an old term similar to the term bestial signs.
Fertile Signs
Fertile also know as Fruitful signs, all the water signs Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are fertile signs.
Figure
Figure is an older term for an astrological chart.
Fire Signs
The 12 signs of the zodiac are subdivided according to the four classical elements earth, air, fire, and water. The three fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
First Point
First point refers to zero degrees Aries, the point along the ecliptic where the zodiac begins.
Fish
The fish (or fishes) is a popular name for the sign Pisces.
Fixed Signs
The 12 signs of the zodiac are subdivided according to three qualities: cardinal, mutable, and fixed. The four fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Fixed Stars
The fixed stars are not fixed but move very slowly around one degree every 72 years. There are more than 9,000 stars visible to the human eye and some of them said to had an influence when they are in tight conjunction, less than 1 degree of orb with planets or angles of any horoscope.
Fortified
A planet is said to be fortified when it is elevated, favorably aspected, and in a sign that it rules.
Fortunes
Fortunes is an older term for the benefic planets Jupiter which is called the Greater Fortune and Venus know as the Lesser Fortune.
Fortuna
The Part of Fortune, sometimes called Fortuna, is the most popular Arabic Part. Arabic Parts are imaginary points in a chart, and are calculated using specific formulas. The formula for the Part of Fortune for day charts is Ascendant + Moon - Sun and for night charts, Ascendant + Sun - Moon. It represents worldly success and prosperity.
Foundation Chart
A foundation chart is a horoscope calculated for the moment construction on a building is begun. But they can also be cast retrospectively. It is a part of electional astrology, the branch that deals with the most appropriate times to begin things.
Four-Footed Signs
The four-footed signs are Aries, Taurus, Leo, Sagittarius, and Capricorn.
Fruitful Signs
The fruitful signs are the signs of the zodiac said to indicate children when placed on the cusp of the fifth house. All the water signs Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are fruitful signs.
